Phil Jackson quoted in his letter to the school that “the climbing session that I watched was run safely”, “your staff fully participated in the sessions”, and “all children were attentive and supportive of their peers throughout".
In addition, he noted that:
- The children were suitably attired in wet suits, in the North Sea.
- The visit had high staffing levels.
- Our Inclusive practice was great.
- The staff had excellent laminated covered staff booklet.
- Pupils were engaged throughout
- A safety briefing was given to the pupils on the beach and there was excellent control by staff throughout.
