Residential Visits
The opportunities for Westerton pupils to develop their learning holistically are wide and varied.
In particular, Years 4 to 6 have the chance to take part in residential visits during the school year, developing social skills of teamwork and living together, and experiencing important cultural highlights during their visits.
Year 5 spend an invigorating weekend developing knowledge and skill in bushcraft and survival.
Year 4’s residential visit to East Barnby is held in the spring term where they have opportunity to explore outdoor and adventurous activities.
Year 6 enjoy time in London during the summer term, exploring the Natural History Museum and enjoying a wonderful cultural evening at the theatre being inspired by a West End musical.
